WHY CLEAN YOUR SOLAR PANELS?

Looking at your windshield after a rare South Florida rain shower makes it instantly obvious why you can’t depend on rainwater to keep your solar panels clean. If you didn’t wash your windshield for 6 months, even in sunny south Florida, how much visibility would you lose? If you leave your car in your driveway, the grime that accumulates will eventually “green over” as algae begin to set up shop!. Even if the car is rained on, the rain contains airborne dust particles that settle and attach to the surface after the rainwater evaporates, and in South Florida calcium and hard water deposits. When using our windshield wipers, we clean the center of the screen, but where the wipers do not reach, there is a film of dirt. Your entire solar panel is in exactly the same condition as the edge of your windshield because they are both exposed to the same elements. Visibility through your windshield is lost due to the loss of light. The same principle holds true for solar panel cleaning.

To keep your solar panels performing you must maximize the light that can pass through the glass to the solar cells.

Firefighter for over 18 years.  Urban Search & Rescue Specialist, past eight years has had the honor of training our men and women in the US Armed Forces in Urban Search & Rescue to help save lives during a man made or natural disaster. Being a Solar Panel owner who started researching about cleaning panels after noticing my panels were dirty. I took the Training necessary from some of the top professionals in solar panel cleaning industry from California.I have a Passion for clean energy.

We are a growing family business with the purpose of educating and informing Solar System owners like ourselves the importance of keeping your panels CLEAN and how to continue getting the most of your output as possible.
